We operate an auto enrolment work place pension which is managed and operated by Standard Life. New staff are automatically enrolled three months after they start with UCFB. At UCFB we have a competitive holiday entitlement of 25-days per year plus bank holidays.

We recognise that not everyone is comfortable discussing personal things at work so we provide a free support line and counselling service through Perkbox that can offer support for emotional issues, e.g. anxiety, depression, stress, legal issues including employment law, family property or debt management.

Annual family barbeque

Every summer we host a family BBQ at each campus where staff can bring their family along to a fun filled afternoon of activities and food.

Staff led events committee

Our staff led events committee meets regularly to plan the year’s events in line with what staff want and feedback from previous events to ensure that UCFB remains a great place to work.

Payday treat

At the end of the month we provide brunch or lunch to all of our staff, including pizza, pastries, prosecco and more.

End of year review day and awards dinner

We throw a staff awards dinner and party every year to celebrate all the hard work and commitment that everyone puts in throughout the year.

Back to work conference

We host a back to work conference to update staff on key issues for the year ahead. This also provides an opportunity to network across the business.
